Visiting castles in former East Germany

We visited a interesting small city named Bedheim in former East Germany.

Our friend architect who brought up in West Germany returned to his land of ancestors,

is renovating his old castle into the house and the office.

While working really hard to won several competitions from surrounding cities,

they open the beautiful garden for the weekend cafe,

rent the farm land to organic farmers, and take a walk into their forest.

Their task as an architect beautifully fits to their life style

and we were really envy of them!
