Curated by Taro Igarashi, this exhibition introduces projects with powerful “forms” by about 35 architects born after 1960 who are leading the Japanese architectural scene, and updates the same exhibition held at FRAC Centre-Valle de Loire and the Japan Cultural Institute in Paris. An exhibition of the “Azir Flottant,” renovated by Le Corbusier in 1929 and miraculously resurfaced last year, will be held concurrently, with the Architectural Institute of Japan involved in its preservation.
